Dalhousie Police Seize 246 Grams of Charas, One Arrested

On June 18, 2026, a police team from Bani Khet outpost set up a naka at Zero Point, Goli, around 10:30 PM. During the blockade, police intercepted vehicle number HP01C‑2178 and recovered 246 grams of charas/cannabis during checking.

The driver, Hussain Muhammad (29), son of Shri Jan Muhammad, resident of Village Sar, Post Office Dehgrahan, Tehsil Churah, District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, was arrested on the spot. A case has been registered against him under Sections 20 and 25 of the NDPS Act.

The accused has been remanded to police custody by the Chamba court, and further investigation is being carried out by Investigating Officer Arun Kumar of Bani Khet Police Post.
