At a press conference held in Dalhousie today, office bearers and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced that strict disciplinary action is being sought against individuals involved in anti-party activities during the upcoming Municipal Council elections.

Party representatives revealed that the names of six individuals are being forwarded to the state and central leadership. These individuals allegedly fielded candidates against BJP’s officially endorsed nominees and were accused of colluding with the Congress party to damage BJP’s prospects.

According to the press briefing, these members have consistently engaged in organization-defying activities, indiscipline, and campaigning against BJP candidates, which violates the party’s principles and organizational decorum. The demand has been made for their suspension or expulsion from primary membership, along with other strict measures.

Leaders emphasized that the BJP is a disciplined organization and will not tolerate anti-party activities at any level. They reiterated that party interests are paramount, urging the leadership to take swift action against such elements to send a clear message of accountability and discipline.
