Under the Ayush Gram Programme, the AYUSH Department Bharmaur organised a free medical camp on Monday at Poolan Panchayat. Local residents received health check-ups and free medicines during the camps

Patients were examined for blood pressure, sugar levels, and blood tests, while villagers actively participated and sought health-related advice.

The camp was attended by Dr. Neeraj Kumar (Post Graduate in Chemistry), Dr. Rakesh Kumar Choudhary (Sub-Divisional AYUSH Medical Officer, Bharmaur), and Dr. Karan Katoch (In-charge, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Shirdi). They were supported by pharmacists Rajendra Kumar and Manoj Kumar, along with staff members Suresh Chand and Jago Ram.

A special exhibition showcased local medicinal plants found in the Bharmaur region, including Dhoop, Kutki, Sugandh Bala, Gucchi, Kala Jeera, Salam Panja, Chorkati Visha, Ban Kakdi, and Daruharidra. Experts explained their therapeutic properties, health benefits, and practical uses in daily life.
