The newly built main road in Nurpur’s central market was formally inaugurated today by Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, the popular Member of Parliament from the Kangra-Chamba constituency. The ceremony was presided over by local MLA Ranbir Singh Nikka, while Nurpur Municipal Council Administrator and Senior Executive Officer Ranbir Singh Verma was also present as a special guest.
Following the inauguration, Dr. Bhardwaj inspected the road in detail and praised the quality of the construction work.
Interaction with Traders and Discussion on Local Issues
After the road opening, Dr. Bhardwaj held a significant meeting with office bearers and members of the local trade association.

- Local Concerns: The trade body raised various regional issues and development needs, to which Dr. Bhardwaj assured positive action.
In his address, Dr. Bhardwaj emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, infrastructure development remains a top priority. He added that the new road will greatly benefit residents and traders of Nurpur by improving convenience and accessibility.
