The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Nurpur unit successfully organised the “Utkarsh” program at Arya Degree College, Nurpur, aimed at fostering personality development, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of nationalism among students.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana.

Delivering an inspiring address, Chief Guest Anup Rana emphasized that youth power is the true capital of the nation. He urged students to remain dedicated to their goals and prioritize national interest, asserting that such commitment would ensure India’s rise as a global leader. He also praised ABVP’s role in safeguarding student interests while strengthening the spirit of nation-building.
Special Guest Nainsi Attal elaborated on ABVP’s ideology, its role in student movements, and its efforts to bring positive social change. She highlighted that “Utkarsh” is not merely a cultural program but a platform to showcase and nurture hidden talent among students.
Chairperson Shobha Dadwal stressed the importance of discipline, values, and education, noting that the true purpose of learning is not just acquiring degrees but building character and fulfilling social responsibility.
The program featured patriotic songs, group dances, poetry recitations, and cultural performances that captivated the audience. Students participated enthusiastically, creating an atmosphere of energy, excitement, and national consciousness across the campus.
Organizers stated that ABVP continues to work for student welfare, academic reforms, cultural awakening, and social harmony. Through “Utkarsh,” the message was conveyed that awakened and united youth are the driving force behind both societal and national progress.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all guests, faculty members, volunteers, and students, followed by the national anthem.
