In view of the upcoming Mahashivratri festival, Acting Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmour, Vikas Sharma, on Saturday inspected the arrangements at the historic Chaurasi Temple complex.
During the visit, he reviewed the ongoing preparations for the Mahashivratri celebrations and issued necessary directions to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival. He also instructed officials of the police department to maintain proper traffic management during the event to facilitate devotees and avoid congestion.
The ADM appealed to visiting devotees to cooperate with the administration. He informed that due to heavy snowfall and in accordance with ancient religious traditions, the portals of Bharmaani Mata Temple, Manimahesh Temple, and Kelang Wazir Temple are currently closed. Devotees have been requested not to attempt visiting these temples during this period.
He further directed the police department to set up a police post near Hadsar to prevent devotees from proceeding towards Manimahesh and Kelang Wazir Temple, ensuring their safety amid prevailing weather conditions.
