The Annual Sports Competition was organised today at Government Arya College, Nurpur under the guidance of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur. The Principal himself graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. NCC cadets welcomed the chief guest with a march-past, while senior faculty member Dr. Diljeet Singh extended greetings to the chief guest, teachers, guests, and students.
The program was conducted by Dr. Thakur, who in his address encouraged students to actively participate in sports, highlighting their importance for both physical and mental health. He emphasized that such activities foster self-confidence, resilience, social bonding, and sportsmanship among students.

The program concluded with Dr. Monika Chaudhary, the event coordinator, extending heartfelt thanks to the chief guest, faculty members, organizing staff, and all participating students for making the annual sports meet a success.
