Two youths were k*illed on the spot while two others sustained serious injuries when a car lost control near the paragliding takeoff site in Bir-Billing and plunged into a deep gorge late Monday (December 1, 2025) night.
According to information, the deceased and injured are reported to be residents of Gagret, Aehju, Bhawarna and Panchrukhi areas.
Local residents immediately informed the police, after which rescue teams reached the site, pulled the injured out of the gorge and rushed them to hospital for treatment.
The police have registered a case and begun investigating the cause of the accident. Preliminary inputs suggest that the vehicle went out of control, leading to the mishap.
