Government Arya College, Nurpur, Himachal Pradesh, celebrated Hindi Fortnight on the occasion of Hindi Day with great fervor under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur.
Addressing the students, Dr. Thakur congratulated them and shared valuable insights about the importance of Hindi. He emphasized that efforts to promote Hindi should begin at home, inspiring society to adopt the language. He highlighted that Hindi is the only medium capable of uniting the entire community in a common thread of harmony.
The event featured a poetry recitation competition, cultural singing, and dance performances, with nearly 250–300 students participating enthusiastically. Professor Manjeet Singh also extended greetings and encouraged students to remain committed to Hindi.
Adding depth to the program, Dr. Diljeet Singh explained the political and scientific relevance of Hindi, while Hindi Department spokesperson Dr. Anil Kumar described Hindi not merely as a language but as a way of life that enriches cultural values, traditions, and ideals.
The program concluded with Dr. Thakur expressing heartfelt gratitude to the faculty, administration, and students for their support.
The event was attended by faculty members including Dr. Anjana Gautam, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. Surjeet Singh, Prof. Surjeet Kumar, Prof. Reema, Prof. Alka, Prof. Shashi Wala, Prof. Suresh Kumar, Prof. Madhu, along with other staff members.
