Says, Public Uprising Against 3 Years of Misgovernance on December 4 will be Historic

BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that on December 4, 2025, a massive and historic public demonstration will be held at Zorawar Singh Stadium in Dharamshala against the three years of misgovernance, administrative collapse and false promises of the Congress government. This protest will reflect the anguish of the people of Himachal Pradesh and will mark the beginning of the movement to change the present government.
Dr. Bindal said that the Congress came to power in 2022 on the basis of false guarantees, but in the last three years it has only deceived the people. Today, the youth are unemployed, women have been cheated, inflation is at its peak and mafia rule is flourishing across the state. The people are completely disillusioned with the present government and have now firmly decided to replace it.
He alleged that the government has betrayed the unemployed youth. By imposing restrictions on regular government jobs, a new “Mitra” system has been introduced, offering honorariums of ₹4000 and ₹5000, which is nothing but an injustice to the future of the youth. On December 4, the loudest voice against this injustice will come from the youth themselves.
Dr. Bindal said that the so-called guarantee of ₹1500 to 28 lakh women has proved to be nothing but a betrayal. The promise of providing 300 units of free electricity was made, but instead electricity rates were increased. The promise of free bus travel for women was also broken, and even the earlier 50 percent concession on fares was withdrawn. Water tariffs, ration prices and the cost of daily essentials have been increased, and new taxes have been imposed, putting an unbearable financial burden on the common man.
The BJP State President further said that law and order in the state has completely collapsed under the Congress government. Incidents of murder, rape, robbery, drug abuse and drug trafficking are being reported frequently. The mining mafia is openly plundering natural resources, while the drug mafia is destroying the future of the youth. The government, instead of taking strict action, has become a silent spectator, clearly indicating patronage to the mafia.
He said that in the last three years, the Congress government has only wasted time in raising empty slogans and misleading the public. The state is sinking deeper into debt, development works have come to a standstill, and people are struggling even for basic facilities. The government has failed on every front.
Dr. Bindal stated that on December 4, thousands of youths, women, senior citizens and BJP workers will assemble in Dharamshala and raise their voice strongly against this anti-people government. This protest will not just be a demonstration, but a resolve to safeguard the future of Himachal Pradesh. Zorawar Singh Stadium will witness the collective anger of the people against the Congress government’s misrule.
