A special campaign against tobacco was carried out in the Baerghatta area under Thural block, where five shopkeepers were fined for selling banned tobacco products.
The drive was led by Block Medical Officer Dr. Anita Sharma, who emphasized that the government has launched this initiative to combat the growing menace of addiction in society and to protect the younger generation from substance abuse.
Supporting the campaign, Omkar Singh from Thural Police played an active role, while Supervisor Jeevan Lal was also present during the operation.
