On the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, Punjab National Bank (PNB) organised a special financial awareness program at Panchayat Rakkh under the theme “Mera Poonji – Mera Adhikar” (My Capital – My Right).
The program was graced by ADM Shilpa Becta as the Chief Guest. Lead District Manager (LDM) Prithvi Ranveer addressed the gathering and provided detailed information about the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) campaign on Unclaimed Deposits.

- Citizens can now easily claim or reclaim forgotten, inactive, or unclaimed deposits through the RBI portal by verifying their details and contacting the respective bank.
- Every citizen has full rights over their deposited capital.
- Funds lying in dormant accounts for years can be safely retrieved.
- Awareness was raised about preventing banking frauds and adopting secure digital banking practices.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from panchayat representatives, departmental officials, parents of school children, and local villagers. Attendees appreciated the initiative, calling it a significant step toward financial literacy and empowerment.
