Government Senior Secondary School Tang Narwana celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and creativity.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Principal, DIET Dharamshala, who formally opened the event. He praised the students’ STEM-based activities, emphasizing that such innovations are the need of the hour.
🔬 Anveshika Physics Festival
On this occasion, the school organised the Anveshika Physics Festival, where students showcased a wide range of science and technology models. Exhibits included:
- Swipe I-Card Attendance System
- Soil Sensor
- ECG Monitoring Device
- Sensor Dustbin
- Electromagnetic Induction models
- Optics and Newton’s Laws demonstrations
- Energy and Disaster Management projects
- Marketing concepts and CPR training models
⚙️ Practical Demonstrations
A major highlight of the exhibition was a special section where students demonstrated the structure and repair of household appliances. Devices such as induction cooktops, ceiling fans, heaters, and electric irons were dismantled to explain their functioning. Students also taught visitors simple repair techniques, earning widespread appreciation for their practical skills.
🎤 Motivational Closing Session
The closing ceremony featured Dr. Khushal Sharma, IPS, Commandant, Police Battalion Sakoh, who inspired the children with short stories based on life values and encouraged them to move forward with determination.
Additionally, a special lecture on communication and life skills was delivered by Dr. N.N. Sharma, retired Principal (College Cadre), who guided students on essential skills for personal and professional growth.
School Principal Mrs. Bhanu Katoch expressed gratitude to all guests, teachers, trainee educators, and participating students. She lauded the collective efforts that made the program a grand success.
