— Professor Pradeep Nair, Director of Research and Professor of New Media at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland (RAI), a globally renowned institution dedicated to the advancement of anthropology and the study of humankind.

Prof. Nair’s nomination was put forward by Dr. David Shankland, Director of RAI and Humphrey Vanley Bodleian Library Fellow at the University of Oxford. His fellowship was formally confirmed during the RAI Council meeting held on November 6, 2025.
