Office bearers of the Primary Teachers’ Union of Bharmour-Garola Block met the ADM Bharmour on Friday to submit a memorandum opposing the recent notification issued under the new Complex System framework by the Education Secretary of Himachal Pradesh.
The union, led by Block President Ramesh Chand Sharma, had convened a meeting on 30 September 2025, where it was unanimously decided to reject the guidelines issued on 23 September. Teachers argued that the directives are detrimental to the interests of primary education and educators across the state.
In response, the union has sought permission to hold a peaceful protest on 5 October 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM from the Old Bus Stand, Bharmour, culminating in a march to the Sub-Divisional Office. The protest will continue until 2:00 PM, followed by the submission of a memorandum addressed to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
The union emphasized that the demonstration will be conducted with full respect for public convenience, ensuring no disruption to traffic or local services. They also assured complete cooperation with the administration and police, and expressed hope for reciprocal support.
