Shimla : Today,Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi reached Shimla and is currently staying at her private residence in Chharabra. Tomorrow, she is scheduled to participate in the one-year anniversary program of the state government in Dharamshala.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu had extended an invitation to Congress National President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi to attend the one-year program. However, due to Rahul Gandhi’s overseas commitments, he will not be able to attend. In lieu of his absence, Priyanka Gandhi has taken the opportunity to be present in Himachal Pradesh for the event.
During the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Priyanka Gandhi played a prominent role as a star campaigner. She conducted several rallies and made numerous promises on behalf of the state government and Congress during the elections. As the one-year term of the government comes to completion tomorrow, Priyanka Gandhi’s presence is anticipated to showcase the achievements of the government during this period.
