‘Shocked’ after hefty power bill at Manali house, BJP MP Kangana calls Himachal CM Sukhu & Co ‘pack of wolves’

Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, has expressed her outrage after receiving a hefty electricity bill of ₹1 lakh for her house in Manali.

Addressing a function in Mandi district, the actress-turned-politician lashed out at the state government, particularly Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, calling his government a “pack of wolves” responsible for the deteriorating state of affairs.

Ranaut, who was in Balh constituency as part of her Mandi tour, took a strong dig at the Sukhu government, referencing the massive electricity bill she received for her Manali residence.

Takes a dig at ‘samosa investigation’ too

She claimed, “I was handed a ₹1 lakh electricity bill for this house, even though I don’t live here most of the time. The condition of the state has deteriorated so much under this government that agencies are now being deployed to investigate samosas. I feel deeply embarrassed reading and hearing about such nonsense. Under Sukhu’s leadership, Himachal Pradesh is heading toward a disaster. We must rescue this state from these wolves.”

Continuing her attack, Ranaut once again targeted Cabinet Minister Vikramaditya Singh, criticising his frequent remarks about her absence.

“I’m not Mr. India, disappearing into thin air,” she said. “For the past six months, I have been committed to my work in Parliament. Yet, Vikramaditya Singh keeps holding press conferences asking, ‘Where is Kangana?’ He needs to get over the shock of his defeat in the elections and stop spreading falsehoods to confuse the people.”

Targets Rahul Gandhi, Vikramaditya

Earlier, in Jogindernagar constituency of Mandi district, Kangana Ranaut took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Vikramaditya Singh.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi as “Sonia ka lal,” she called Vikramaditya Singh “Raja Babu”. She emphasised that both leaders had forgotten their boundaries and warned, “Don’t throw mud at others to the point where you lose your own dignity.”
