Auditions for Mr and Miss Northern and Northern Dance to be held in Mandi tomorrow
MANDI: The auditions for Mr and Miss Northern and Northern Dance Championship, organised by Feet of Fire, are set to take place on Tuesday (October 8, 2024) at Sardar Patel University in Mandi.
The auditions will be from 10 am to 5 pm and are open to participants aged six to 27 years.
Amit Bhatia, the organiser of the championship, announced that auditions had already been successfully conducted in various cities, including Chandigarh, Shimla, Solan, Baddi, Hamirpur, Kullu and Chamba. Following the Mandi auditions, additional auditions will be held in Sundernagar, Solan and Chandigarh.
In the junior category, participants aged 6 to 15 will be eligible, while those aged 16 to 27 can compete in the senior category. Bhatia also highlighted that prominent Himachali singers AC Bhardwaj and Ajay Chauhan, along with social worker Raja Singh Malhotra, will attend the auditions as special guests.
Grand finale scheduled for November 9
The grand finale of the championship is scheduled for November 9, with the venue yet to be confirmed. Miss Universe India, Shweta Sharda, will be a special guest at the event. Bhatia emphasised that in addition to the winners, all talented participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the country’s leading modeling companies.
Furthermore, aspiring talents involved in music albums and other projects will also be offered work opportunities.
Participants who excel will not only receive recognition but will also be awarded cash prizes and trophies.
