Among them shines Dr Mala Singh, a distinguished expert in climate strategies, green buildings and sustainability.
Born and raised in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, Dr Mala Singh has amassed over 20 years of expertise. She has made substantial contributions to sectors such as building construction, healthcare, hospitality, education, logistics, industrial projects, government initiatives and corporate sustainability.
As the founder and Director of PEC Greening India and Executive Director of CSO Global Inc, US, her influence spans continents.
Currently, she serves as the Chairperson of the Mumbai chapter of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). She also holds an Executive Board position at IGBC (CII), besides serving as the Regional Director of FOCUS (Forum of Critical and Utility Services) and as an advisory board member of HPMF, mentoring various prestigious associations and institutions.

Her journey from Himachal Pradesh to Mumbai has been transformative, marked by her advocacy for environmental responsibility and climate change mitigation.
Married to Shakti Singh, a prominent cricketer and IPL match referee, she has been a National Executive Board Member of IGBC (CII) for decades. Her efforts have been instrumental in advancing India’s green building movement, aiming to establish the country as a global leader in sustainable development.
Dr Mala Singh is a frequent keynote speaker and moderator at national and international conferences, championing the transformation of both new and existing built environments into green, sustainable and climate-resilient spaces.
