Jwalamukhi:
In a proud moment for Jwalamukhi city, Aarav, a student of Spring Dale Convent Senior Secondary School, clinched the gold medal in the Under-14 category at the State-Level Taekwondo Championship held on October 15–16, 2025, at Government Senior Secondary School Kanaid (Mandi).

Aarav was among four students from Spring Dale Convent selected for the championship, alongside Harshita, Divyansh, and Surya Pratap. The team delivered an impressive performance: Harshita secured silver, while Divyansh and Surya Pratap each earned bronze medals.

Aarav’s gold medal win has also earned him a spot in the upcoming National Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to be held in Nagaland, marking a significant achievement for both the school and the region.

The students credited their success to the school management, Principal Dr. Rajeev Singh Niryal, and their coach Mr. Bhanu Pratap, whose dedication helped foster interest and excellence in Taekwondo.

Dr. Niryal praised the students for representing the school with distinction and expressed confidence in their continued success at the national level. Upon their return, the school community—including Chairman Dr. Rajendra, MD Mr. Pawan Chaudhary, and other committee members—congratulated the medalists and encouraged all students to actively participate in extracurricular activities alongside academics.
