Dharamshala: Maharana Pratap Public School marked its Sports Day with fervor and zeal.
Colonel S.S. Rana graced the occasion as a special guest, where students from KG to 12th grade actively participated in various sports.
The children engaged in activities such as hurdle race, arrange the unjumble table, tic-tac-toe, hit the bottles, identify and recall objects from the magic box, tug of war, separate kabaddi matches for boys and girls, and kho kho, among other games.
Following the spirited competitions, students who secured the first and second positions were rewarded. Mr. Rana emphasized the positive impact of such activities on fostering qualities like morale, leadership, competition, and self-discipline among students.
He highlighted the pivotal role these events play in the holistic development of children.
