A Grand Celebration of Enthusiasm, Determination, and Sportsmanship

Dalhousie Hilltop School, Dalhousie, successfully organized the much-awaited Annual Inter-House Cross Country Run on June 7, 2026, as part of the academic session 2026–27. The event was not merely a race but a vibrant showcase of students’ physical endurance, confidence, discipline, resilience, and team spirit.
The competition was flagged off at 7:00 AM by the school chairperson, Dr. Poonam Rai Dhawan, who encouraged students to pursue their goals with perseverance and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Safety and Participation
Ensuring student safety was a top priority. The race route was equipped with proper security arrangements, trained staff, and medical support, allowing participants to compete with confidence and enthusiasm. From the youngest learners to senior students, everyone displayed remarkable courage, energy, and sportsmanship.
A Memorable Experience
Set against the breathtaking valleys and fresh mountain air of Dalhousie, the run became a memorable experience for all. Dr. Dhawan remarked: “The Cross Country Run is not just a competition, but a celebration of confidence, determination, and healthy rivalry. Such events play a vital role in holistic development and prepare children to face life’s challenges.”

- 3rd – Namish (Shakespeare House)
- Senior Boys:
- 1st – Aman Sharma (Keats House)
- 2nd – Aksharam (Dickens House)
- 3rd – Mohammad Ali (Wordsworth House)
- Senior Girls:
- 1st – Avni (Dickens House)
- 2nd – Saanvi (Keats House)
- 3rd – Japneet (Wordsworth House)
In the overall Inter-House Championship, Wordsworth House emerged victorious, securing the championship trophy, followed by Keats House in second place and Shakespeare House in third.
Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners, and the collective enthusiasm of students and teachers made the event a resounding success. The Cross Country Run reaffirmed the school’s proud tradition of nurturing unity, health, self-confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship.
