In a major controversy, Haryana BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and singer Rocky Mittal have been accused of rape, with an FIR registered against them in Himachal Pradesh’s Kasauli police station in Solan district.
According to the police, the complainant, a woman from Haryana, alleged that the two had sexually assaulted her approximately 18 months ago under the pretext of securing her a government job. The woman further claimed that they threatened her with death and recorded obscene videos and photos of her.
The complainant also stated that two months ago, the accused summoned her to Panchkula where they allegedly attempted to implicate her in a false case.
Based on her complaint, the Kasauli police registered a case and an investigation is underway. A senior police officer from Solan confirmed the registration of the case. He said the police were proceeding with the necessary inquiries.
