It is about standing firm for what is right even when the odds seem impossible. Born in 1540 in the kingdom of Mewar, Maharana Pratap grew up during a period of political turmoil. Many rulers of his time chose alliances and compromises to secure their kingdoms. Maharana Pratap chose a different path. Before his hungry daughter could take a bite, a wild animal snatched it away. Witnessing the suffering of his loved ones was painful for Maharana Pratap, yet he refused to abandon the cause of freedom.

Another inspiring story is that of Bhamashah, a loyal supporter of Maharana Pratap. When the king faced severe financial difficulties, Bhamashah offered his entire wealth to support the fight for Mewar.
