Gaggal
In a special road safety drive, Gaggal traffic police removed illegal fog lights from two-wheeler vehicles on Wednesday. Riders were warned and released, with officials stating that repeat violations would lead to challans.
Traffic In-Charge Bijender Singh explained that under the Motor Vehicles Act, installing high-intensity fog lights or extra lights on two-wheelers is illegal. Such lights dazzle oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of road accidents.
The campaign was aimed at raising awareness among motorists and ensuring safer roads for commuters.
