On August 16th, CM Sukhu will be the chief guest at a state-level meeting of beneficiaries of the ‘Swamitva Yojna,’ a scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April 2020. The scheme aims to provide land ownership rights to people in rural areas, a move that could resonate strongly with the rural electorate.
The final leg of his tour, on August 18, will see Sukhu in Hamirpur, where he will distribute tablets to teachers and launch a scheme for the distribution of additional items under the PM-Poshan initiative, funded by the state government.
