Students of Government College Bharmour have set a remarkable example of humanity through a noble initiative. According to reports, Suraj Thakur from Gaunsan village, who is battling a serious illness at PGI Chandigarh, requires approximately ₹30–35 lakh for his treatment.

In this difficult time, the college students came forward and collected ₹51,100 as financial assistance. Their compassionate effort has been widely appreciated by the college principal and the entire teaching staff.

The college administration has also appealed to society at large to contribute generously, so that Suraj Thakur’s treatment can be made possible.

This initiative not only reflects the sensitivity of the students but also serves as an inspiring example for the community.
