In a swift and efficient operation, Nurpur Police successfully recovered a stolen Bolero pickup truck (JK08C-7809) from Sujanpur (Pathankot) within 24 hours of the theft being reported.
The complaint was filed by Balkar Singh, son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Matholi village, Vasa Waziran, Tehsil Nurpur, District Kangra, who reported that he had parked his vehicle near the Old Cinema Hall in Jasur around 5:00 PM on January 8, 2026. Upon returning the next morning at 9:00 AM, the vehicle was missing.
Based on the complaint, FIR No. 15/26 was registered on January 9, 2026, under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against unknown persons.
Technical Investigation Leads to Quick Recovery
Nurpur Police launched a professional investigation, combining evidence analysis and technical tracking, which led to the successful recovery of the stolen vehicle from Sujanpur.
Efforts are currently underway to identify and apprehend the accused involved in the theft.
