Bharmour: The situation of villagers in Sadhari, a village under Gram Panchayat Shoon in the Pangi Assembly constituency, is extremely dire and concerning as they risk their lives daily crossing a deteriorating bridge. Bharmour-Pangi MLA Dr. Janak Raj has accused the government of negligence in addressing this issue.
According to Dr. Janak Raj, the bridge over Sindhari Nala has become a symbol of danger due to the rising water levels, yet no concrete steps have been taken by the government.
He expressed disappointment over the lack of funds for capital expenditure, stating that backward and geographically challenging areas are bearing the brunt of this financial shortfall. He criticized the current government’s economic and administrative failures, which have left no resources for developmental projects.
Dr. Janak Raj also commented on the government’s promises of systemic change, accusing them of misleading the public and neglecting sensitive regions like Pangi. He highlighted the worsening conditions in his constituency.
The local MLA and the people of Pangi have demanded that the government treat the situation of Sadhari village’s bridge as an emergency and immediately allocate the necessary budget for a permanent solution. Ensuring safe passage for the villagers is not just about a bridge but about the lives and livelihoods of hundreds of people.
