Palampur— Students of Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra Government College, Palampur brought laurels to their institution by excelling at the Himachal Pradesh Youth Festival held at Government College Nahan from October 13 to 15.
The college secured first place in the group category, showcasing outstanding teamwork and cultural talent. Individual achievements added to the celebration, with Gulshan winning third place in the Rangoli competition and Hemant Kishore securing third place in collage making, both earning accolades for their creativity and dedication.
Principal Professor Pankaj Sood congratulated Professor Kalpana Rishi, coordinator of the Cultural Committee, along with committee members for their guidance and support. He praised the students’ hard work and encouraged Gulshan and Hemant Kishore to continue their excellent performances in future events.
The occasion was graced by faculty members including Professor Kalpana Rishi, Dr. Anita Saroch, Dr. Anuradha, Professor Sunita Katoch, Professor Manish Sharma, Dr. Nisha Chandel, and Professor Aarti Dohru, who celebrated the students’ success and the college’s growing cultural footprint.
