Sanskrit Day Celebrated at Government College of Teacher Education, Dharamshala

The Government College of Teacher Education, Dharamshala, celebrated Sanskrit Day with great enthusiasm and reverence on August 14, 2025. The event was graced by Principal Prof. Aarti Verma as the chief guest.

The celebration featured a vibrant blend of cultural and academic activities, including Saraswati Vandana, welcome songs, Sanskrit bhajans, and a traditional Sanskrit Nati performance. Competitions such as shloka recitation, subhashita writing, letter reading, and a Sanskrit literature quiz were also organized, with enthusiastic participation from trainee teachers.

Encouragement for Sanskrit Promotion

In her concluding remarks, Prof. Aarti Verma congratulated all participants and encouraged them to remain actively involved in such initiatives. She emphasized that cultural and academic events like these play a vital role in the promotion and preservation of Sanskrit, fostering a positive environment and sparking curiosity about the profound wisdom of Sanskrit literature.
