A special program on road safety was organised at Government College Bharmour by the Road Safety Club to raise awareness among students about traffic rules, precautions, and the importance of responsible behavior on the roads.
As part of the event, students enthusiastically participated in creative competitions such as poster-making, slogan writing, and other activities based on the theme of road safety. These contests allowed students to express their awareness and creative ideas on the subject.
Following the competitions, an informative session was conducted by Head Constable Shri Pravesh Kumar from the Police Department, who served as the keynote speaker. He provided detailed guidance on traffic rules, safe driving practices, the mandatory use of helmets and seat belts, and measures to prevent accidents. His lecture proved highly inspiring and educational for the students.
At the conclusion of the program, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, In-charge of the Road Safety Club, presented a memento to the chief guest as a token of respect. Faculty members including Mr. Swaroop Kumar, Mr. Sugreev Kumar, and Mr. Vivek Kumar were also present and played an active role in ensuring the success of the event.
The camp marked an important step towards enhancing road safety awareness among students at the college.
