Chamba – In a significant move to support flood-affected regions of Himachal Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted an aerial survey today and announced a historic relief package of ₹1,500 crore to aid recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
During the visit, Member of Parliament Harsh Mahajan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for his swift and compassionate response. He stated:
“Prime Minister Modi’s prompt decision reflects his deep sensitivity and unwavering commitment to the people. In this hour of crisis, his announcement has reassured Himachal residents that the central government stands firmly with them in every situation.”
Mahajan also took the opportunity to urge the state government to move beyond rhetoric and political posturing, emphasizing that:
“The pain of the people cannot be eased through statements and politics alone. Today, the people of Himachal can clearly see where real relief and development are possible.”
