The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Development Federation, Shimla, organized a one-day cooperative education camp for the managing committees and members of cooperative societies of Bharmaur block at the auditorium hall of the Mini Secretariat, Bharmaur. Around 60 members from various cooperative societies participated in the program.
During the camp, Cooperative Education Instructor from Nurpur, Balwant Singh, provided detailed information to the participants about their rights and responsibilities towards cooperative societies. He also highlighted the basic principles of cooperation and the crucial role of members in the effective functioning of societies.
On this occasion, Balvinder Singh, Principal of the Cooperative Training Center, Garly, briefed participants about the Himachal Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act and cooperative rules. He explained key provisions related to smooth functioning, transparency, and accountability in cooperative institutions.
The camp also included interactive discussions where participants raised queries on various cooperative-related topics and received guidance from experts. The primary objective of the program was to create awareness among cooperative members about their rights, duties, and the rules governing cooperative societies.
