Over 10,000 Students Benefitted So Far; Aptitude Test on 18th September 2025

Dharamshala — In a bid to make modern IT education more accessible, Newus Dharamshala has announced the launch of its 5th Ujjwal Bhavishya Scholarship (UBS), aimed at supporting deserving students from financially constrained backgrounds. The initiative seeks to bridge the growing gap between industry demand and the availability of skilled professionals.
Over the past 27 years, more than 10,000 students have benefitted from UBS and are now working across various IT sectors. This year’s scholarship continues the legacy by offering financial aid for cutting-edge programs in Full Stack Software Engineering with AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Digital Marketing, Animation & Game Design, and more.
Scholarship Categories:
- Z Category: 100% tuition fee waiver; ₹5,000 + GST admission fee
- A Category: Up to ₹75,000 for 1.5-year programs
- B Category: ₹50,000
- C Category: ₹35,000
(Scholarships also available for 1-year and 6-month modular programs)
Selection will be based on academic performance in Class 10th and 12th, along with an aptitude test scheduled for 18th September 2025. The scholarship is available in both online and offline formats to ensure inclusivity for students in remote areas.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Managing Director Mr. Dinesh Sharma emphasized, “In today’s competitive world, a degree alone isn’t enough. UBS is designed to help students upgrade their skills and build a strong identity in the tech industry.”
The press conference was attended by Mr. Navneet Chandel (HOC) and Mr. Sharma, who reiterated Newus’s commitment to inclusive and future-ready education.
