Ahead of the State-Level Sports and Cultural Competitions being organised in Shimla from November 14 to 16, 2025, Bharmaur–Pangi MLA Dr. Janak Raj has conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the participating children. The event, held in celebration of Children’s Day, will see 60 children from child care institutions in Mahla, Chamba, Saho, and Chilli (Chamba district) showcasing their talents.
Dr. Janak Raj emphasized that such platforms play a vital role in nurturing children’s abilities and boosting their confidence. “Children from hilly regions possess immense potential. What they need is the right stage and guidance,” he said, expressing hope that these young participants will make the state and nation proud in the future.
He also lauded the efforts of the Child Protection Department and associated institutions, noting that initiatives like these contribute significantly to the holistic development of children.
“I am confident that the children from these care institutions will not only perform well but also inspire others through their dedication and hard work,” Dr. Raj added.
