Missing Persons Safely Recovered by Nurpur Police

Under the special campaign launched to trace missing persons, particularly women and children, Nurpur Police have successfully recovered several individuals across different police stations in the district.

  • From Police Station Damtal: Three missing persons were traced — a 19-year-old resident of Baggan Lower, Tehsil Billawar, District Kathua; a 25-year-old resident of Ward No. 5 Thapkour, Post Office Bhadroya, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra; and a 19-year-old resident of Damtal, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra.
  • From Police Station Jawali: Two missing persons aged 22 and 27, residents of Dhan, Post Office Matlahar, Tehsil Jawali, were safely located.
  • From Police Station Indora: One missing person, a resident of Muken, Post Office Pritam Nagar, Tehsil and District Garhwal (Uttarakhand), was also traced.

In total, six missing persons were recovered within two days under this campaign. After completing necessary formalities, all individuals were handed over to their families.

Nurpur Police reaffirm their commitment to public safety and maintaining law and order, while continuing efforts to trace missing persons.
