Meeting of Shri Manimahesh Trust Held

A meeting of the Shri Manimahesh Trust was convened on Thursday at the Mini Secretariat Patti auditorium under the chairmanship of Acting Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmour, Vikas Sharma.

During the meeting, the ADM emphasized strict compliance with the directions issued by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) regarding the organization of the Manimahesh Yatra. Detailed discussions were held, and important instructions were issued to ensure adherence.

As per NGT guidelines, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Bharmour and the Wildlife Department were directed to regulate pilgrim movement, trekking activities, and related commercial operations during the official pilgrimage and other times.

The ADM also instructed officials of the Public Works Department to carry out repairs on key routes and facilities, including NH-154A from Bagga to Bharmour, Hadsar to Gui Nala Road, Hadsar to Dal Lake pedestrian path, Bharmani pedestrian path, Bharmour helipad, Gaurikund, Bharmour–Hadsar Road, Hadsar–Bharmour via Chaubia Road, Bharmour–Bharmani via Gharadu Road, and Bharmour–Bharmani via Malkota Road.

The meeting approved the installation of QR codes at temples under the Shri Manimahesh Trust, enabling devotees to make donations online. It was also decided to hold a separate meeting with priests and their associates in Hadsar to address their concerns.

Furthermore, it was resolved that shopkeepers wishing to set up stalls along the Hadsar–Manimahesh route during the pilgrimage must obtain permission from the ADM’s office.

The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, Vijay Nag; RFO Wildlife, Manoj Kumar; Junior Engineer, BDO Office, Sandeep Kumar; and Trust members Suman Kumar, Ranjit Kumar, and Kuldeep Singh.
