A massive rush was witnessed at the venue for the prestigious TNR Shining Star Awards in Solan on Saturday (July 6, 2024) with students starting to queue up for registration since early morning.
The event is being organised to honour the meritorious Class 10 and Class 12 students who have scored 85 per cent or higher marks in their recent board examination.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthy, who is the Congress MLA from Arki constituency in Solan district, is the Chief Guest. The venue is Art and Culture Auditorium at Kotho in Solan town. The awards ceremony is from 10 am to 2 pm, but eligible students had to report at the venue for registration at 9 am.
The TNR Shining Star Awards elicited a massive response in Nahan (covering Sirmaur district) on Thursday (July 4, 2024), with nearly 400 students honoured. An equal number of students are expected in Solan too.
