From the quiet mountain town of Ani in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district to some of the world’s most demanding security training environments, Master Bhupesh has emerged as one of India’s most respected names in modern combat training, martial arts, and strategic security preparedness.

Born into a modest family, Bhupesh’s journey is a testament to discipline, resilience, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence. Today, he stands at the forefront of advanced security training in India, working closely with police forces, elite commando units, and central security agencies — while also placing Himachal Pradesh firmly on the global sports and entrepreneurship map.

Israeli Combat Systems Introduced for Elite Commandos in Una

In a recent high-level initiative, Master Bhupesh conducted a seven-day advanced combat training programme at the First Indian Reserve Battalion campus in Bangarh, Una district. The special camp was organised for the Quick Reaction Team, where commandos were trained in Israeli Krav Maga — one of the world’s most lethal and practical close-combat systems.

The programme focused on real-world threat scenarios, counter-assault techniques, hostage-response drills, and rapid neutralisation strategies. At the closing ceremony, Battalion Commandant Dr Akriti Sharma commended the programme’s operational value and honoured Master Bhupesh with a memento, stating that such training significantly enhances the confidence, reflexes and battlefield readiness of security personnel.

‘Mission Suraksha 360’: Redefining India’s Security Training Framework

Since 2020, Master Bhupesh has been spearheading ‘Mission Suraksha 360’, a comprehensive security training initiative designed to modernise India’s tactical preparedness. Under this programme, police units, QRT teams, commando formations and central forces are trained in Israeli close-combat doctrine, urban warfare response and real-life tactical decision-making.

According to Bhupesh, evolving security challenges demand a shift from conventional drills to adaptive, intelligence-driven and high-speed response training. ‘Mission Suraksha 360’ has now emerged as one of the most reliable private-sector training frameworks supporting India’s internal security architecture.

Civilian Safety and National Capacity Building

With over 28 years of experience in martial arts, Master Bhupesh has also made civilian safety a national mission. More than 50,000 civilians across India have undergone self-defence, situational awareness and crisis-response training under his supervision.

His methodology integrates physical combat skills with psychological resilience, decision-making under pressure, and disciplined lifestyle practices — a model increasingly being adopted by educational institutions, corporate organisations and community safety programmes.

Elevating Indian MMA on the World Stage

In 2017, Bhupesh founded the Ultimate Fighting League (UFL), an international MMA promotion platform that hosts global-standard fight events and talent development programmes. UFL has rapidly evolved into a respected international brand, providing Indian fighters with direct exposure to global competition and professional sports ecosystems.

The league has played a pivotal role in establishing India as an emerging force in the global mixed martial arts circuit.

Business Leadership with Social Impact

Beyond sports and security, Master Bhupesh is a diversified entrepreneur with investments in mining and hospitality. His ventures have generated significant employment in Himachal Pradesh, particularly for rural youth, contributing to sustainable local economic growth.

His business philosophy combines profitability with community development, positioning entrepreneurship as a tool for regional transformation.

Legacy, Leadership and Recognition

Master Bhupesh is the founder of Himachal Kung Fu and was instrumental in giving the martial art formal recognition in the state in 2012. His initiatives created a structured ecosystem for martial arts training, certification and competition in Himachal Pradesh.

His excellence has been recognised with numerous national and international honours, including the Martial Arts Authority of India’s “Master of the Year” award for three consecutive years (2013–2015), the Himachal Gaurav Award (2015), and the prestigious Dragon Award by the World Shaolin Martial Arts Federation (2016).
