From Police Post to Police Station Kotla had been functioning as a police post since 1997. Considering the growing needs of the area and to provide better policing services, it has now been elevated to a full-fledged police station. The jurisdiction of Kotla Police Station will cover 15 Gram Panchayats, including Balaha Kotla, Soldha, Nyangal, Trilokpur, Bhali, Jol, Siyuni, Jangal, Kuther, Nadholi, Dol (Bhatehar), Padar, Rajol, Kothi Banda, and Behi Pathiar.
Digital Policing Begins with CCTNS During the inauguration, the Minister made the first Daily Diary (DD) entry on the CCTNS online server, marking the formal launch of digital policing at Kotla Police Station. This integration will streamline police processes and records, making services more efficient and accessible.
Enhanced Policing in the Region With the upgrade, police presence and accessibility in the region will be strengthened. The move will improve patrolling, crime prevention, investigations, and ensure quicker response to law-and-order situations. Local residents will now have easier access to police services and grievance redressal at the station level.

The establishment of Kotla Police Station marks a milestone in modern, accessible, and effective policing for the region.
