Indora Police Station registered case no. 05/26 on January 5, 2026, under sections 331(3) and 303(2) of the BNS, following a complaint by Kuldeep Verma, son of Bansi Lal, resident of Birwal Colony, Indora. The complaint stated that on December 18, 2025, during daytime, unknown persons stole a 55-inch Sony LED TV and a laptop from his residence.
Acting swiftly and professionally, Nurpur Police conducted thorough investigation and technical analysis. Within seven hours, the team successfully arrested the wanted accused from Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur (Punjab):
- Pankaj, son of Kartar Singh, resident of village Fatual, Mukerian
- Paras Kumar alias Prince, son of Subhash, resident of Ward No. 11, Mukerian
Further legal proceedings are being carried out as per rules.
The Nurpur Police have appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious activities in their areas to help prevent such incidents.
