Addressing the event, Bairwa emphasized the significance of elections as a celebration of democracy and urged every eligible citizen to exercise their voting rights on June 1, 2024. He stressed that voting is not just a right but also a duty for every individual in a robust democracy. He called upon all citizens to participate in the electoral process and encouraged them to vote beyond their family circles. The campaign aims to increase voter turnout in Kangra district through various initiatives under the SwEEP program.

Bairwa also announced the launch of a campaign to facilitate voter ID card registration for eligible youth who turned 18 by April 1, 2024, ensuring that no young voter is deprived of their voting rights. He highlighted the Voter Helpline app as a resource for obtaining voter ID card-related information and accessing services related to EVM and VVPAT testing modules. Additionally, voters can dial toll-free number 1950 for voter information. Bairwa urged citizens to notify election center officials if they encounter any difficulties in obtaining their voter ID cards, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the electoral process.
