Dharamshala: Kamakshi Sharma, daughter of an entrepreneur and a Science stream student from Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Sr Secondary School Baijnath, topped the HP Board Class 12 final exam with an outstanding score of 494 out of 500, achieving 98.80 percent marks. She was honored at the Shining Star event held at the college auditorium in Dharamshala.
Kamakshi attributed her success to consistent daily study and maintaining confidence. “Consistency and confidence were key to scoring high marks,” she said. She also credited her parents, teachers, and herself for providing essential guidance throughout her preparation.
Interestingly, Kamakshi dismissed the idea of relying on tuition and coaching classes, calling them a waste of time. Instead, she advised the younger generation to openly communicate with their parents and address issues like anxiety, depression, and negativity. She suggested listening to spiritual leaders and gurus for additional support if one follows them.
Kamakshi shared that she began her studies from the first day of the academic session, which helped her remain stress-free and fully prepared by the time exams approached. She mentioned having a supportive family, including her grandparents, parents, brother, and a few close friends at school.
