As part of the ongoing campaign against drug-related activities, the police administration in Nurpur district today carried out demolition of an illegal construction belonging to Shashi Kumar, son of Gurdayal Singh, resident of Damtal. The action was taken in compliance with orders issued by the competent authority.
Officials confirmed that Shashi Kumar already faces two cases under the NDPS Act. Acting on directives, the concerned department demolished his unauthorized structure.
Adequate police force was deployed by Nurpur Police during the operation to maintain law and order. The entire exercise remained peaceful and under control, with police keeping close watch throughout.
Nurpur Police has appealed to the public to maintain peace and harmony and not to pay heed to any rumors. Authorities reiterated that strict action against violators of the law will continue in the future as well.
