DHARAMSHALA: Two days after announcing the Class 10 results, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) declared the HPBOSE Class 12 results 2025 on Saturday (May 17, 2025).
A total of 86,373 students appeared for the exams, of whom 71,591 have passed, registering a pass percentage of 83.16%.
Una student Mehak overall topper
Mehak, a student of DR Public School, Gagret (Una district), has emerged as the state topper in the HPBOSE Class 12 results 2025, securing 486 out of 500 marks (97.2%) in science stream. She has also topped the overall merit list across all three streams.
In science stream, two students share the second position while there are six students at the third position, which displays how stiff the competition has been among the top rankers. In the commerce stream, two students share the third slot. Following are the stream-wise toppers:

Merit list breakdown
According to Board Chairman Hemraj Bairwa, 75 students made it to the overall top-10 merit list, including a remarkable 61 girls and 14 boys. A total of 2,300 exam centres were set up across the state for this year’s exams.
Certificates available on DigiLocker
The HPBOSE has made arrangements for students to access their certificates via DigiLocker. Additionally, students interested in re-evaluation or rechecking of answer sheets can apply online only through the official website www.hpbose.org by June 1. The re-evaluation fee is Rs 1,000 per subject (minimum 20% marks required in the subject). The rechecking fee is Rs 800 per subject.
