Himachal CM Sukhu’s ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' programme in remote Kullu village on May 7

In a bid to bring governance closer to the people, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will preside over a ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme on May 7, 2025, at Sharsi village in the scenic Tirthan valley of Kullu district.

This was announced today by Revenue, Horticulture, Tribal Development and Public Grievance Redressal Minister Jagat Singh Negi, who emphasised that the outreach initiative reflected the state government’s commitment to resolving public grievances at the grassroots level.

Negi stated that details regarding the participation of other Cabinet ministers in the programme would be made public shortly. The event is expected to see significant engagement from both state officials and local residents.

“The top priority of the state government is to resolve public grievances, particularly in remote and rural areas,” said Negi.

He said that multi-dimensional efforts were underway to ensure that people from even the most far-flung villages could access government services and find solutions to their concerns without having to travel far.
