CITU district in Solan organized a convention to strengthen the campaign “Remove Modi, save the nation” ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The convention saw participation of hundreds of workers and employees affiliated with various unions, including those from cement plants, construction unions, and anganwadi workers.
Addressing the gathering, CITU state president Vijendra Mehra emphasized the need to oust the Modi government, citing its attacks on workers’ rights and the rise in unemployment and inflation under its tenure.
The workers’ manifesto released during the convention pledged to challenge the Modi government’s policies and aims to defeat the BJP in the upcoming elections.
