MANDI: The inaugural cultural evening at the ongoing International Shivratri Festival in Chhoti Kashi Mandi in Himachal Pradesh celebrated the musical prowess of esteemed singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi.

With his soul-stirring renditions of Lord Shiva’s songs, Raghuvanshi had the entire audience swaying to the divine melodies of “Shiv Sama Rahe Mujh Mein” and “Mahadeva Tera Damru Dum Dum Bajta Jaaye”. The evening commenced with a ceremonial inauguration by “Dev Dhun Ludarmani”, paving the way for a captivating lineup of performances by talented artistes.IMG 20240310 WA0004

Surmani’s enchanting Shehnai melodies, ISKCON Chandra’s bhajans and the melodious voices of Manjeet Singh, Nitin Kaushal, Shubham ‘Mandi’ and Ramesh Katoch resonated through the pandal, captivating hearts with their renditions of Pahari and Hindi songs.

Adding to the allure, Gunjan from Shimla and Naveen Kumar from Sundernagar showcased their graceful dance moves, while vocalists Kanti Bhushan of Mandi, Sweta Rana, Ganga Singh, Ashvi Mandi, Mehvish, Himanshu, Durga Das, Ajay Kumar, Akshit Sharma and Karan Sen left the audience spellbound with their enchanting performances.

The evening also featured captivating dance performances by Advitya Vardhan from Kullu, Muskaan from Bilaspur, Leeladhar Chauhan from Mandi, Urvi, students from Noble College of Pandoh, Seema Bhardwaj, Urmila Soni from Mandi, Taruna, Arvind Rajput from Kangra and Somchand Bhattacharya.

Abhishekh Bisht from Laman Band will regale the audiences with his stimulating performance, followed by Inshaat and Mamta Bhardwaj promising an electrifying performance set to dazzle audiences at the International Shivratri Festival.
