Bharmour
Continuing his tour of Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur visited the tribal subdivision of Bharmour on Monday. His arrival was warmly received by departmental officials, local residents, and Congress workers.
At the Public Works Department Rest House, the minister met with local people, listened to their grievances, and resolved many issues on the spot. Responding to demands from residents and students, he assured that the proposed merger of Government Senior Secondary Girls School, Bharmour would be discussed in detail with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and that the matter would be considered positively.
On this occasion, departmental officers and representatives of various institutions honored the minister with traditional shawls, caps, and mementos.
Later, Rohit Thakur visited the historic 84 Temple Complex, where he offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Himachal Pradesh.
The event was attended by Chamba MLA Neeraj Nayyar, Bhramour–Pangi MLA Dr. Janak Raj, former minister Asha Kumari, former Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sohan Lal, former MLA Tilak Raj, District Agriculture Produce and Marketing Committee Chairman Lalit Thakur, District Congress Committee President Surjit Bhramouri, former State Congress spokesperson Amit Bhramouri, Acting Additional Deputy Commissioner Vikas Sharma, along with senior officials, teachers, students, parents, and local dignitaries.
